School Visit by Mentor Shri. Rajeev S

Shri Rajeev S (78C, Mumbai) visited two HOPE Scholarship beneficiaries at their schools. He met Kumari Gauri Ramesh along with School Headmistress, class teacher and PTA president at Govt SVHSS,  Kudassanad. It was truly inspiring to note that Gauri is smart, studious and enthusiastic, in spite of hardships at home with a single parent. She was thrilled to share her experiences at the South Zone Empowerment Camp that was held at Adoor. 

Report | HOPE South Zone Empowerment Camp 2019

The CETA Galaxy Charitable Trust conducted the HOPE South Zone empowerment camp on the 13th, 14th and 15th of September, 2019. The camp was held at Mar Thoma Youth Center, Adoor. Close to 700 people attended the camp, with over 500 of them being students. The chief guest for the event was Dr. Jacob Thomas, IPS. The camp provided an avenue for eminent personalities from various walks of life, to impart valuable insight to the HOPE Scholarship Scheme beneficiaries.

HOPE South Zone Empowerment Camp 2019

The HOPE South Zone Empowerment Camp conducted by CETA Galaxy Charitable Trust will be held on 13, 14 & 15 September 2019 at the Mar Thoma Youth Centre, Adoor.

More than 500 people, including students and their parents, are expected to attend the camp.

CGCT Lends a Hand to the Flood Affected Families

A team of our HOPE PLUS volunteers have been active in the flood-hit regions of Meppadi Village in Wayanad. Under the leadership of Prof. Dr. Thajudin Ahamed, they distributed relief materials like tables, household items, and utensils to the families affected by flood and landslides.

Flood Relief Efforts at Kavalappara

The CETA Galaxy HOPE team has been active in flood relief and restoration activities at Nilambur Malappuram. The team has distributed household items to the affected people at Kavalappara area near Nilambur, Malappuram. They have been visiting homes on an individual basis and have been able to hand out double coat beds, mattresses, pillows, sheets etc to the 11 families who are currently living in temporary shelters.

Flood Relief Efforts at Attappadi and Wayanad

CETA Galaxy Charitable Trust has been active in flood relief efforts in the high-risk areas of Attappadi and Wayanad.

On behalf of CGCT, volunteers distributed coats, mattresses, solar lamps, etc at the Sholayur relief camp in Attappadi on 16th August 2019. Sincere gratitude to M/s Orbinox Coimbatore for their timely support, enabling the distribution of coats, mattresses, 2 pillows each and bed sheets for 10 families.

HOPE CARES 2019-20 | Scholarship Distribution

The activities of HOPE CARES for the academic year 2019-20 were formally launched by Dr. Navneet Sharma IPS, ASP on 6 July 2019 at Govt. Higher Secondary School, Agali.

The scholarships for the newly selected students were also distributed during the event. More than 300 students from Agali, Sholayur and Pudur schools attended the day-long training sessions.

CGCT signs MoU with District Panchayath of Alappuzha

CETA Galaxy Charitable Trust has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with District Panchayath of Alappuzha to rebuild the flood-affected Avittam Thirunal Government Vocational Higher Secondary School, Mankompu, Kuttanad in association with Alfa Laval India Private Limited.

Student Empowerment Programme at Avittam Thirunal G.V.H.S.S.

In the aftermath of the floods that affected Kerala, Avittam Thirunal Government Vocational Higher Secondary School at Mankompu, Kuttanad went through a process of rebuilding, in association with M/s Alfa Laval India.

HOPE CARES Training Programme | First Session

The first session of HOPE CARES training programme for 2019-20 is scheduled on 6th July 2019 at Agali. Around 80 students selected from the 3 tribal schools will receive HOPE CARES scholarships for the year 2019-20. Approximately 300 students from Agali, Sholayur and Puthur schools are expected to attend the day long event.
